Nirbhay Gujjar Ki Kahani : निर्भय सिंह गुर्जर चंबल का सबसे दुर्दांत और आखिरी डकैत था। 30 वर्षों के अपने आपराधिक इतिहास में उसने उत्तर प्रदेश और मध्य प्रदेश के बीहड़ को खूब आतंकित किया था। दिन में महज दो घंटे की नींद लेने वाले डाकू निर्भय गूर्जर पर आपराधिक मामले दर्ज थे। साथ ही दो राज्यों की सरकारों ने उसपर यानी पूरे 5 लाख रूपये का इनाम घोषित कर रखा था। जिंदा या मुर्दा। जिस वक्त पुलिस ने उसका एनकाउंटर किया वह भारत के चंबल का सबसे मोस्ट वांटेड डकैत बन बैठा था।

बीहड़ का सबसे दुर्दांत डकैत निर्भय के बारे में कहा जाता था कि वह जितना दुर्दांत था उतना ही रंगीन मिजाज भी था। उसके गिरोह के जिंदा बचे कुछ सदस्यों ने निर्भय की मौत के बाद उसका रहस्य खोलते हुए बताया था कि, निर्भय जिस गांव में भी दाखिल होता, बिना किसी का बलात्कार किये वापस नहीं लौटता था। बीहड़ में भी उसके साथ परमानेंट तीन महिलाएं, जिनमें नीलम गुप्ता, सरला जाटव और मुन्नी पांडेय रहती थीं। उसने इन तीनों का अपहरण कर अपने साथ रखा था। निर्भय का अपने बेटे की पत्नी स
ASI to resume restoration of Bateshwar temple complex in Chambal
Six years after the restoration work on the year-old Bateshwar temple complex in the dense forest area of Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh stopped because of illegal mining activities, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has decided to restart the restoration project ‘very soon’.
The decision has been taken after the Prime Minister’s Office intervened in the matter on the complaints of the Gujjar community across the country that the temple complex is in dire need of restoration.
Spread across 25 acres, it was declared a ‘protected monument’ by the ASI in But the restoration of the complex which houses about sandstone temples could not be started till due to the fear of dacoit gangs in the area.
In an unusual turn of events, a former ASI official roped in dreaded dacoit Nirbhay Singh Gujjar in to start the restoration work for the first time.
“When I saw Nirbhay Gujjar for the first time in , he was smoking a bidi on the stairs of the temple complex. I didn’t recognise him and admonished him for bringing disrespect to a holy place,” noted archaeologist KK Muhammed who was in-charge of the Bhopal Circl
