Kamal Haasan's brother and actor Charuhasan hospitalised after suffering a fall
Actor-director Charuhasan, elder brother of Kamal Haasan and father of Suhasini Mani Ratnam, was hospitalised after suffering a fall before Diwali. Suhasini shared a couple of photos and a video on her Instagram account stating that they spent their Diwali at the hospital emergency. In the video, she was seen speaking to Charuhasan to share a message for his wife before going into surgery.

Sharing the photos and video, Suhasini wrote, "Midnight before Deepavali we had a fall. Our Deepavali was at emergency. But we are all geared up for surgery (sic)."

In the video, Suhasini asked her father what he wanted to tell his wife. He cutely held his daughter's hand and said, "I'm fine. I will come back and see you. I'm ready for the surgery. I'll be alright."
Back in August, Charuhasan was admitted to a private hospital due to age-related illness. The veteran actor and director is 93 years old.
