Satinder Sartaaj was born as Satinder Pal Singh Saini on Tuesday, 31 August (age 41 years; as of ) in the village of Bajrawar, Hoshiarpur, Punjab. His zodiac sign is Virgo. Sartaaj did his initial schooling at Government Primary School (GPS), Bajrawar, Hoshiarpur. He also attended government schools in the villages of Chabewal and Patti in Hoshiarpur. He was inclined towards music from a young age and started performing at the Baal-Sabhas while he was in class 3. Sartaaj graduated in Music with Honours from Government College Hoshiarpur, Punjab. Alongside, he also did a five years Diploma in Classical Music at Sangeet Vishard in Jalandhar.

His hometown is Village Bajrawar, Hoshiarpur, Punjab, where he was brought into the world on May 18, He stands about 5&#;6&#; tall. He attended Government Primary School, Bajrawar, Hoshiarpur, and graduated with honours from Govt. College, Hoshiarpur, with a degree in music. In addition, he earned a 5-year vocal and instrumental diploma at Sangeet Vishard in Jalandhar.
