21世紀に英国で最も多くのアルバムを売り上げてきたウエストライフが、1月10日（木）、8年ぶりとなる待望のニュー・シングル「Hello My Love」を引っ提げ、ついに復活を遂げた。
「Hello My Love」のソングライティングおよびプロデュースを手掛けたのは、超大物ヒットメーカーのエド・シーランとスティーヴ・マック。ウエストライフの持ち味でもある圧巻のヴォーカルおよびコーラスワークを前面に押し出した、高揚感に満ちた紛れもなく輝かしいポップ・アンセムだ。この曲をもって、ウエストライフはキングス・オブ・ポップ（ポップス界の覇者）という、彼らにふさわしい地位へといよいよ復権する。
年10月、メンバーのシェーン、ニッキー、マーク、キーアンが音楽シーンへの復帰を発表。マスコミ報道が過熱する中、グループはソーシャルメディアでの活動を活性化させた。ウエストライフはヴァージンEMIと新たにレコード契約を締結し、年にはニュー・アルバムのリリースを控えている。

このツアーは彼らにとって、年6月23日にダブリンのクローク・パークで行なった公演以来のステージとなる。
